Data calculation/treatment
Immigration NZ meet their legal obligation to protect personal information by randomly rounding totals in the tool base three. This is best practice from StatsNZ. It does mean figures can be different to their previously published data.
Limitations of the data
Some visa types do not require the occupation to be recorded. The data is available only for applications where the occupation was recorded or required.
