The Treasury

The Treasury is New Zealand's lead advisor to the Government on economic, financial and regulatory policy and is committed to helping achieve higher living standards for New Zealanders. The Treasury produces a range of publications and economic data, and also monitors and manages the financial affairs of the Government; assesses public sector proposals which have economic and financial implications; and delivers operational services through the Debt Management Office and the Export Credit Office.
