Definitions

Household sector: New Zealand-resident individuals, families, whānau, hapū, and subsidiary iwi (not rūnanga iwi) in their role as final consumers and as owners of factors of production.
Final consumption expenditure (FCE): the sum of household spending on consumer goods and services.
Total FCE = Non-durable goods + Durable goods + Services + Imports of low value goods purchased directly by households
